How It Looks
Sessions typically last 50 minutes with 10 minutes left to check in or briefly discuss concerns or progress.
Intakes are required prior to the initial session. It is up to the parent and child if they would like to be present. Some parents feel that their child can more accurately explain what is bothering them or what they are struggling with.
Sessions center around therapeutic play or play based activities and are typically child-led. Counselor will create or plan more directive and targeted activities as necessary or if child needs to develop or target a specific skill or area of concern.
Sessions can be scheduled M-F 9 - 5:30, with limited after school spots available. Weekend sessions available upon request and availability.
